  • Salad? Other veggies?

    Hello, I am currently in the induction phase (week 2). I think I may have been doing the salad & vegetable part wrong, although I have been losing weight.

    I eat about 2 1/2 cups of salad a day, and celery as a snack throughout the day (1/2 cup). Am I getting enough of the carbs? Aren't most of them supposed to come from vegetables?
    Also, do you think you could give me a sample of what you eat to fill up your three cups of vegetables while also getting all your necessary carbs (at least 11 from vegetables, right?)

    You should be counting net carbs. That's total carbs minus dietary fiber, on American labels.

    It has approximately 3 cups of vegetables and 20 net carbs, with most of them (about 13) coming from veggies.
