Does anyone know which brand hot dogs are legal for Induction? I know Oscar Meyer beef franks have 1 carb each, and I was just wondering if those were okay, and if there were some that were better for Induction. Thanks!

Hi.
You have to read the ingredients on your hot dogs to make sure that they do not contain added sugars and/or grain products to determine if they are okay or not.

I remember seeing some expensive, jewish/kosher hotdogs that were either carb free, or had 1 or 2 carbs. Most have 5-8 carbs.
All in all, i avoided hot dogs. They are not worth the carbs. I would rather have a large sausage for teh same # of carbs.
I stuck with hamburger patties, chicken or fish for my main meals.

Hi Sjhatcu, :wave
You have to be very careful with hotdogs, sausage and deli meats - they can be loaded with carbs and sugar. Always read the ingredients list in addition to the nutrition label
Boars Head and Hummel Brothers make a zero carb zero sugar hot dog. Board Head is particularly excellent and they have a large menu of Atkins induction friendly meats and cheeses.
You can find where to buy Boars Head as well as the ingrediant/nutrion info on their products right on their website at:
Hope this Helps!
