  • Did I cheat?

I went to Boston Market and they said that they didn't have a nutrition guide so I asked them what each item contained.

They told me that the Turkey contained no sugar, just other seasonings, so I ended up having that. They also volunteered to cook the vegetable mix (minus the ones I can't have) for me without the sauce, which was nice of them.

So, anyway, I got home and looked on the website and it said that the Turkey contains 3 grams of sugar. Are these the 'sugar contributing carbs' that the acceptable food list mentions? Am I okay here, or did I cheat?

On a side note, the veggies were fantastic.

you might want to email their customer service and ask them for the ingredient list for their turkey.

They told me that they can't give out exact recipes, for privacy reasons. They don't know who is going to attempt to duplicate (and maybe sell) their creation.

good lord thats stupid...I wish I could say it was ok but it's so hard to know without seeing the ingredients...I know some of my deli meat has trace amounts of sugar and usually we say if it says 1% or less its ok but I'm wondering if they hide stuff in the seasoning. I would say don't worry about it and just keep going with your diet. You did your best to make sure it didn't have something you couldn't eat. If you plan on eating there on a regular basis just keep track of your weight loss and see if it has an effect on your loss it probably contains hidden sugars.

I think I'll just stick with Chipotle and Wendys.

Turkey isn't even my favorite, I just wanted a change.

          Thanks for the help.
