  • Please don't yell at me...........

    But, I was reading my copy of DANDR 2002, and it had a sample menu for Induction. One of the snacks was a carb-controlled Strawberry shake. If Dr. A wrote this, then why can't we have it?
    Just a question. :confused

    Dr. Atkins also wrote that you must follow the Rules of Induction. So, if it ain't on the list, it don't cross your lips.

    There's other stuff on that sample menu that doesn't comply with the Rules of Induction, for example the grain-based crackers and the zucchini-muffins that are made with nuts.

    Again, you must follow the Rules of Induction. If you don't, then you'll have to deal with whatever consequences might follow.

      I noticed that too.. I guess people here are just saying it's best usually if you don't ... in my case.. I need to break the sweet addiction...

      it also says no nuts or seeds... but one recipe on induction has sesame seeds... (I guess you just use a few)

          I bought this stuff by the cases at sams club. I would have one a day. It said it was ok in the book so I drank them. Istill lost weight but when I joined this site I saw some posts about how you shouldn't have them. So I cut them out. I am losing weight faster now. I don't know if it was the shakes or not but I have far less stalls in lose.
