  • Is excercise OK on induction?

    ensive

I think I am in the "induction flu" phase, but I don't think I really want to give up on working out. Is there any particular reason why I shouldn't? My plan is tomight to do the recumbent bike for a 1/2 hour, maybe run about 10-15 minutes (I used to run more a few weeks ago but I hurt my knee... I suspect it had something to do with all the WEIGHT I was putting on it).

Anyways, opinions about when excercise should start in induction would be much welcomed.

I am posting sooooo much here lately... I am going to make you all SICK of me! :vomit

    Yes, exercise is ALWAYS okay!!

Sorry about the knee .. are you sure it wasn't caused from wearing worn out shoes? I had that happen at first when I started running ... Once I got the right shoes, the knee pain disappeared and that was 18 running months ago!

exercise is coming back for me... I can't commit to anything yet... not an hour or anything a day.. but I AM doing my gazelle.. it's right in front of the tv... at LEAST 10 minutes a day...

10 minutes isn't much... but it's a start.. and for me ... it's a committment to start some exercise again.....
      2-15-10 194.8 - highest ever!
      2-20-10 190.4 - new scale
      3-20-10 177.8 - 1 month
      5-10-10 169.8 - 25 pounds gone!

          Every little bit!

Every little bit helps! If you have to build yourself up, do that. You will be surprised at how much you will gradually be able to do. It is better to start out with a small amount of exercise, than no exercise at all. :hug
