    Induction flu?

I've been on induction for about 5 days now. I've been feeling great and have lost lots of weight.

This morning, I woke up feeling terrible. I'm nauseous, I have a headache and I feel dizzy. I couldn't even go into work.

I'm going to see a Doctor today. I know that it's probably not necessary, but I need a Doctor's note or I will lose my job.

Can anyone explain this "Induction Flu" I saw mentioned elsewhere?

    Thanks.

"Inductin Flu" is a slang term for what Dr. Atkins described as carbohydrate withdrawal symptoms. He devotes an entire section to it in Chapter 11 of DANDR 2002. I suggest you read it.

      Thank you.

I found out that I actually have strep throat. I will still be sure to read that chapter of the book, though, along with the rest of the book.
