Good for you! You will do it, just take it one sip at a time!

What you could try is to start mixing some decaff into your high test. Maybe just 1/4 decaff to start, then half etc. (Assuming you don't want to go cold turkey, that is)

Cold turkey is murder. I went from a 4-6 cup a day habit to zero, and that was rough. I can't imagine cold-turkeying an 11 cup a day habit. I would advise tapering too, if you've decided to do the Induction clean.

          Good luck. :wave

            not the java man

I really struggled with the coffee issue at first. I had to take it on faith from the monitors here that it had to go.

It was tough. I found that coffee for me really was a horrible addiction, physically and psychologically. But that made me even more determined to give it up. I did do it cold turkey, and it took me a few weeks to stop missing it, but I did adjust and am grateful to be free of it.

Coffee can give you such a nice lift, but the lift just doesn't last. Soon you are crashing again and that leads to yet another cup of coffee and another crash.

Substances that lift you up and then drop you, aren't good for your body or your blood. I have to say I much prefer foods and beverages that keep me evenly balanced. Give up the coffee. You won't regret it.
