I have been doing atkins for the past few weeks and I find that having the same thing every day is easy and doesn't involve much thinking...however, I am getting very sick of eating the same thing everyday. I have 3 slices of bacon and an omelet for breakfast, then I'll have a salad with a turkey burger, then for dinner I'll usually have chicken stir-fry (zucchinni, onion) and that's it. Lately I've been binging on candy at night because I am so tired of not mixing up my routine. DO any of you guys have any breakfast and lunch ideas that are kind of quick and easy? I don't mind having the stir-fry every night.... Thanks!

Hi and welcome aboard!
Check out the Recipes section at the top of this page. It has some great ideas for everything you need.
Also check out the posts here from others. Sometimes they write recipies that dont make it to the Recipe section.
There are so many foods you can eat on induction. Mix and match them, fry them, bake them or sautee them.
Good luck to you! and make SURE you drink your water!! :capital

Firstly, get the candy out of your house, or out of your reach! Ask yourself why you are putting yourself on that roller coaster ride of sugar highs and lows.
Secondly, if you have been doing Atkins for a few weeks, perhaps you need to move on to OWL. Read the sticky in this forum and answer a few questions or go to page 160 in DANDR to see if you are ready to move on.
Have a good look at the Acceptable Foods list, as Cher suggests and think about how you can combine them to make interesting meals or snacks. You are only as limited as your imagination! Remember that you don't need to eat 'breakfast foods' at breakfast...you can have leftovers from the night before, or make roll-ups with deli meat and cream cheese, (I like to use cheese and pickles.)
Branch out with your vegetables so you get a variety of nutrients and fiber...add different veggies to your stirfry.
Take some time to read all the sticky's in the forums you go to..lots of good info in there. :yes and as Cher said, check out the recipe forums and the recipe link at the top of the screen.

You can eat ANYTHING ( acceptable foods ) for breakfast . . . it doesn't have to be breakfast foods!
I often have a cup of cauliflour or broccoli, and a piece of chicken for breakfast. Sometimes I take a couple of thick slices of ham, put them into the oven with a small slice of cheese on each . . . then roll 'em up and eat em.
Try to be inventive! It will really help out! :nod" Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." - Robert F. Kennedy

Hi Charmed, :wave
If you've been eating candy every night then your body hasn't had a chance to switch over to Ketosis, so my feeling is you need to do two things.
One) Get the book - the 2002 version of "Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution" and really read it - cover to cover. If had done this you would understand the role sugar plays in our lives, in our body and how critical eliminating any trace of refined sugar and sugar substitutes is to success on Atkins. You would also know that there is no reason whatsoever to be bored with the foods and potential menu ideas you can derive from the acceptable foods list for Induction.
Of course if you have the book - you might just need to re read it, but it holds the keys to your success and without it failure is inevitable.
Two) Start a clean "by the book" Induction - your menu is only limited by your imagination, people do Induction for months (those with fifty or more pounds to lose can extend induction) and never have the same menu twice.
So think outside the box, use your imagination, experiment with recipes and come up with a few of your own.
Hope this Helps,
Peter
