    Hello purleflowerbee :wave
    Welcome to ha

    Have you just started induction?

    How are you finding it?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

        Is this usual?

        Hi!

Thanks for the welcoming...Yes, I've started the induction on Monday (May 02)...I was weighting 175 now down to 173. Is this too fast? Is this a usual amount to lose on the first week?

        -Thanks

          Hi purleflowerbee :wave Welcome!

I think Moochiecat told us losing 5-10% during Induction was the norm ie the further your goal weight is, the more pounds you could lose. I mean for me I only have 44lbs to lose, so 2-4lbs was what I expected to lose. So sounds like losing 3lbs so far is alright... but as many of the moderators suggest, try and refrain from weighing yourself till the end of Induction as you may get fluctuations of weight during this period and it can get disheartening if you think you've lost one day and put it on another... when it is the weight at the end of the Induction period that matters.

Would you mind putting your stats into your signature? Go to this forum:

It tells you how to set up your signature and put some of the fancy tickers or images as you will see in many of our signatures. Also, putting your stats such as

          start weight/current weight/goal weight
          sex, height

will help the mods answer your questions like the ones you have so far.

And once again, welcome to ha
