My job is having a potluck today and what we have here is making me jealous. There's all types of fruit, polly pies, taquitos, etc. I just walked away and starting eating my nuts. I think I can avoid it because I really like how I feel and the inches that I'm losing makes me want this even more. I will reach my goal although the fruit looked good, I won't touch it. :nono

I went to a church potluck last Saturday night. I decided to make the effort to cook a dish I can eat just in case there wasn't anything else legal. It worked out just fine. I took the recipe for Italian Casserole from LindaSue's website and got a lot of compliments on it. There was also some unsauced brisket and olives that were tasty. I just focused on visiting with people and ended up having a really nice time.
I think that the key to success at these things is to have a plan before and to make up your mind that you are not going to cheat. You'll only be hurting yourself, and frankly, nobody else really cares what you eat or don't eat.

Yep, that's what I do! I always always bring something that is legal that I can enjoy. No one else even realizes its low carb unless I choose to tell them!
Good for you for avoiding the no-no's. But next time make it easy on yourself and bring something you can enjoy! :yes
