Hi Shay!! I have just started too. I have read a few of your posts and I understand you are having a hard time. I know how difficult it is to make food for you family and not eat it. Especially your children, you are tempted to just finish off that last little bite they left on their plate. You have got to STOP and think about why you are trying to do this WOE/WOL it is a commitment to being a better parent. It is a commitment to yourself, you are worth the effort, you are worth the time, and you are capable of the success!!!! State to your family that this is very important to you, tell them how they can help you. Come to this board before you "cheat". In my opinion you can't "cheat" this is not a test, you will not "fail". You either will or will not choose to treat yourself and your body with the respect and care it and you deserve. Commit to weigh in just once a week, you don't need the added pressure. I know that you can do this, you must really make the change mentally. When I fell sick (bowl and tummy issues) I tell myself that this WOE is working. I know that when I eat high carb, I am just going to have to go thur that "sick" phase again, so why put myself thur that? Let me know if I or someone more experienced can help you BEFORE you give in to the carb demons :mad2 . Keep you chin up sweetie, you CAN DO IT!!!
