It is 11:15 am and I am trying to convince myself once again that tomorrow would be a better day to start this. The problem is tomorrow never comes. I don't want to keep doing this but I want to eat eat eat and not good stuff but that lasagne cooking in the oven (I do daycare so have to cook meals according to menus for the kids). I am going to do this... I AM I AM I AM I AM I AM

be strong... maybe you could have a bit of the meat sauce... without the noodles... isn't the rest ok? even on induction?

(unless you use tomato sauce with sugar or something..)

you CAN do this... the first 3 days were the hardest for me...and I'm not a PRO.. but it's 3 weeks today since I started....

15 pounds in 21 days.... I'll take that..

    just get started!
    2-15-10 194.8 - highest ever!
    2-20-10 190.4 - new scale
    3-20-10 177.8 - 1 month
    5-10-10 169.8 - 25 pounds gone!

You can do it Shay. Peytonn has a great idea for a lasagne substitute: layer the sauce and the meat with cheese and bake it. You'll have the same flavor as the carby stuff, without the carbs.

      Hang in there.

Shay, got to this site and our recipe section. You can find meals that are similar to the ones you have to make for the kids, but low carb for you. Then you won't feel "left out".

          no day but today

Wow - if I were taking care of whining kids all day, I'd be wanting to dip into something stronger than the lasagna! Well I do have whining guests!

Fortunatley, I have Atkins to sustain me through all these stressful days. Atkins is my rock. It can be your port of sanity too.

If you embrace Atkins, stick to induction, and follow all the rules as specified in the 2002 DANDR, you will soon find yourself impervious to calls from the wild lasagna or any other frankenfood.

You will finally have the control you have been longing for all of your life.
And the things you think you are afraid of, simply will not come to pass.

The only way to start is to start.
          No day but today.

          You can do this.
Suffering is necessary until you realize it is unnecessary. Eckhart Tolle
