  • Starting Induction Tomorrow- Need grocery list

I will be starting induction tomorrow. I need some suggestions for my grocery list. I already have the obvious on there- butter, eggs, fish, chicken, full fat salad dressing ( I love Ken's) mayo and cheese. Can anyone suggest anything else that I should get? :help I have tried this WOE in the past and failed miserably, but I know its all a state of mind, I have done well on WW and Jenny Craig over the past few months, but now I want to rid my body of all that processed crap and I know Atkins is an excellent way to do it. I have the book and have read it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

What about broccoli, lettuce, tomato, or some other veggis and cheese? I don't see any veggies.

or pick some foods from the acceptable foods list

Good for you, making the decision to leave those processed foods behind!

Stick with lots of acceptable veggies, eggs, meats, and follow the book!!
Aim for 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs (from veggies) per day!!

Everyone's tastes are different. So the best thing to do it to sit down with the Induction Acceptable Foods list and draw up your shopping list from that.

Also bring a copy of the Acceptable Foods List and the Induction Rules with you when you go shopping. That way, there won't be any guess work if something is "legal" or not. It would be a shame to spend money on food you can't eat until OWL.
