Hi,
I recently (Jan) moved to Germany from Florida with my husband and 2 children. Prior to coming here I had successfully reduced my weight using Atkins and 2 hour daily work out regimens by approx 70 going from 310 to 249. Since arriving here I have gained 20lbs as I haven't been on this way of eating or exercising at all. There was ankle high snow, we lived in a hotel for 4 months. We have a home now and the weather has improved. My husband took trip back tothe states so I started Atkins on Mon. This is my third day. I have a headache. I am lethargic, and just plain melancoly. I won't weigh myself until Monday morning (1 week), but I was in ketosis already on yesterday. I am tired of red meat and chicken already. I had flounder grilled in butter for breakfast and some lemon chicken for lunhc, but I had to force myself to eat the chicken. I have drank at least 10 glasses of water per day.
I have successfully done this before and my goal of 167lbs was in sight. I just want some tips on staying on track and looking forward instead of dealing with the moment. I have a 2 year old that cooked oatmeal for this morning. I was so proud of myself for not even tasting it.
Anybody out there where I am? Care to chat? I am 6 hours ahead of EST.
