  • I need some encouragement:(

I have lost 37 pounds since April 5th. It has been lose a lot (5-7 pounds ) one week, nothing the next, in a recurring pattern. But I have not lost anything ( bobbling between the same 2 pounds ) in 12 days! I am still doing a clean induction, have not changed a thing! I am going to go nuts! I know that weight loss is not linear..and all that stuff, but now I have to battle my brain, saying it's stopped working, go ahead have that chocolate bar..ect. The past week has been like that. Slight cravings, but more mental. I really need to do this, so someone please slap me? So I can get on with my life

    Thanks
    Amy

Amy, someone with more experience can confirm, but ---How are your measurements? Have you been exercising? I know 12 days seems like an eternity, but a "stall" I have read on this board is much longer 3 or 4 months with no weight or mesurement change? ( someone more advanced please confirm) You are doing awsome 37lbs in 2 months?!?!?! Your body just needs to catch up with that speedy loss. Don't get discouraged, we all have those ARG moments when things are not moving as quickly as we want. But you are doing all the right things and it will continue to happen for you. Just hang in there. :hug

TOM could be the culprit or not drinking enough. Just remember that you should hop off the scale for a while and start measuring.

ok you Gals, how bad is this? I don't even remember when TOM is due...My DH had a vasectomy when I was preg with my last baby, and I never give it a thought now....

Not bad at all, my hubby always knows before I do. Change in skin, attitude. I didn't start keeping track until we were planning a vacation to London earlier this year, and I wanted to know if I would be "on" for the 8 hour flight. (NO thank goodness). We forget all sorts of things after children!

4 weeks of no inches or pounds is officially a stall :hug
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

dont give up hope , 37lbs in 2 months? , thats almost 5lbs a week!

                  thats great progress

make sure to drink all your water and exercise more , cut out any/all frankenfoods if youre partaking in them

ps. 64oz water + 8 oz for every 20lbs you want to lose is how much you should be drinking!

Maybe you should consider moving to OWL? I did and lost 3 lbs in the first week. I am really close to goal so was going to be happy with even 1 lb a week, but when I went to OWL, upped my carbs, whoa la,, it worked.

P.S. because of my slow weight loss, I have to also count calories,, maybe you might too.
