  • No trace in ketosis strips

So... I've been testing myself with these strips since the very beginning. I have always had some form of color whether it's pink or dark purple.

My weight loss has stalled and hasn't budged for over a month.

I have completely eliminated "frankenfoods" from my diet and have been drinking a lot more water.... a lot more water than I ever have.

I am confused as to why the strips have no trace now. I thought I was doing everything right.

Is it possible that it's the extra water?... somehow,... diluting?

    I'm sad and confused!

I think ive read that the extra water could be diluting them. I dont use them, so dont know much about them, but I do believe ive heard that before.

Yes extra water can dilute them to the point of not showing up. If you are on induction and doing everything right them lose the strips till owl. Why not post something in review my menu to see if there is something hidden you are not aware of. Are you exercising? Have you been measuring?

My keto sticks have never worked, except once yesterday morning. I would throw them out. Go by measuring and the scale instead. I've already noticed my clothes fitting looser and my ring moves on my finger now.

              Ding Ding!!

I am getting to the point where I hate Ketostix. People are do or dieing by them and thats not good. So much variation can be caused by the smallest variant. I'd use them at first just to see if you have gone into ketosis then destroy. :nod

As well, they show lighter in the morning than in the evening.

chuck 'em or use 'em as fancy swizzle sticks.

Yes, you can test for ketones in the breath. But the more accurate measurement of ketones is a blood test.

Don't forget that the day before TOM visits you, they stop working. It's a good way of knowing when your fixin to start.
