  • Motrin during TOM? READ QUICK!!

    Okay I posted this in the woman's forum, but I need answers quick!! I'm having HORRIBLE cramps and need mortin. Right now I"m on induction and don't want to screw up my progress. Has anyone taken it and been okay??? Thanks so much!

    I think you will be ok. I have taken tylenol and ibuprofen and been fine(no cravings). Be aware that most pills contain starch to bind them together but it's negligeble and should cause you too many problems. Heating pads work for cramps as weel. Also just exercising is supposed to help.

      I have the worst cramps known to womankind. The only thing that helps me is to take 2 Aleve before the cramps start. Otherwise I'm in bed for the next 4 days. I'm not sure if it causes a stall, but it's the only thing that keeps me from keeling over.

        I'm with Aphaxphode, I have to take something for my cramps or I will be in bed. Take the motrin! I hope that the people at the Atkins Center are doing research on women and their TOM, so these kind of questions can be answered! I take Advil, I have never had a problem with it. I've had 4 periods since I started Atkins and I've lost 31 pounds.
