  • What's going on?

I think it all depends on what time of day you're weighing, or it could be water weight. I do the same thing going between 146 and 148. Are you eating a lot of salt?

I had really dry mouth the first six weeks, it got better after that. My lips felt chapped all the time. As you will learn, the scale is evil, stay away from the scale! I really, really try not to weigh myself more than once a week. Your weight goes up and down, maybe you are getting close to TOM? Maybe you are retaining water, don't worry about it. Decide on a day of the week and time of day that you will weigh yourself, then only weigh yourself that day. If you are having a clean induction, you will be fine!

      What's going on?

I'm confused! I know we should not weigh daily but yesterday the scale showed 249, this morning 253. I haven't changed anything at all. This is my 3rd week of induction. I can understand no change but to go up 4lbs is discouraging. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Also does your mouth stay dry? I find myself drinking water all day long.

A lot of us find our weight seems to 'bounce' down and up for a few days or weeks and gradually moves down.
For example over the last few days mine has varied between 161 and 165 pounds = it was 163 this morning.
I usually wait till I see the same weight 3 times before I change my signature.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

it's good for you to drink water often anyway, but don't be discouraged, stop worrying about the scale, as long as you change your way of eating, you'll lose
