  • Out of town - Menu Planning

My hubby and I are off to Victoria (Canada) this Friday for 5 days, to attend my daughters graduation from University. We are both on this WOE,and so I actually have a list of food that I am going to bring with us, so that we can stay on plan. More munchie type of things, that we can have during the days. I know we will have to visit Safeway when we get there, after all students eat lotsa high carb junk food.

When I was there in April, I actually lost 3 lbs that week, but that was done with some planning as well.

Can you give me some ideas on what I should bring. I want to make sure I cover myself!

Will they let you take fresh produce over the boarder? If not, you might want to make a list and go shopping when you get there.

I live in Victoria!! I'll make sure the weather stays lovely for you!

Um...we have food stores here...you don't need to bring your own...lol

I'm going to be going away on the 18/19 on a mini scooter rally to Saltspring, and I'm planning on packing a small bag with a frozen bottle of water, some hardboiled eggs, pepperoni and cheese for my snackies.

While you're here, the best cheese is available at Extra Foods!
I'm also checking into a cheese shop I just learned about.

If you need any touristy info or anything, feel free to pm me.

oh hey, if you want to rent scooters, bf and I will tour you all around!

There's not really a border between the provinces in Canada....but Quebec is a different story....just kidding.

Will you be able to cook while you're there or are you staying at a hotel?
