  • Confession....

Ok I have a confession to make. Ive been doing this WOL for a month and a few days now. Ok cover your eyes....

:::: I HAVENT EXERCISED ONE DAY::::::

I am going to the gym tonight, but I am now kicking myself, because if I wouldve exercised, I can only imagine how much more I wouldve lost.. Probably far more than 23 pounds in a month ( Im not complaining, because i didnt expect that). I feel so great, I really do, I can only imagine how much better I would feel to exercise :sadblinky

I read everyones comments about exercising, I try to figure out the exercise challenge forum, but I keep missing the start dates.

I really need a swift kick in the rear, I havent been doing things right... I feel like everyone here is my friend, and I dont lie to my friends.

Im ready for a beatin...... :no :sadblinky

I didn't exercise for a long time after I started Atkins :no and do I EVER regret it! I know my body wouldn't be so fluffy right now if I had buckled down early on.

But, the thing is, I accomplished a lot regarding food and my relationship to it, and I certainly wasn't completely inactive. These are valid accomplishments.
And when I was ready to really get into exericise, I knew it was for long term...it was just time to do it.

The important thing is that we are exercising now...and nothing can stop us! :joy

Be sure to take it slow when starting a new program. Also, You might notice a slight weight gain the first week of exercising. Your body automatically retains water at first.

Welp went to the gym, met with the trainer, and was there for over an hour.. Im SO glad I went. I plan on going atleast 4 days a week, and then on the weekend working out at home.

And the best thing........ I sat down with him for nutrition and went through what I eat in a day, and he said what I am doing is perfectly fine!
I thought I was going to get reamed out like I do from everyone else.

And... to top it all off, Im at 195 this morning. HoOOORahhHh!!!

          Thanks guys

Good for you for starting the mandatory exercise which is part of Akins. I really think you are going to start noticing differences in your body. Now is the time to measure if you haven't already. Don't be discouraged if the scale shows a small weight gain because the inches are going to be coming off of you. Building lean muscle mans means that overall your body will be burning more calories all the time! Check out the various exercise challenges going on to really keep you motivated!

Good for you for starting exercising. I was terrible about it in the beginning as well.

As far as any of the challenges, you can join them anytime. If you miss the start date so what. I'm sure whoever is running any challenge you are interested in would love to have you.

Here I thought I was the only one not doing exercise like I shouldve been.. I think I really needed to get the WOE down pat before I tried to incorporate something else into my lifestyle trying to do two drastic changes at once I think I wouldve failed. Now that I dont think twice about taking that bread off a sandwich or burger, I do it like second nature.

Im ready to get sweaty in the gym!!!! I will check out the exercise chall forum.

Thank you everyone for your kind words... Your all the greateast :hug :hug
