    stepped on the scale this morning for the **** of it and weighed 253... I am very disappointed, and i only know of 1 things that could have caused this... i added a few new things to my eating (a bunch of pork rinds and pepperoni both with 0 carbs and sugars except the pepperoni has "dextrose" in it). i take it the salt in them is what made me gain it back. but what i'm wondering, if the salt made me retain water this week, the 7lbs i lost in the first 2 weeks of induction was 100% water????? I thought i was supposed to lose fat, not water.

    my offical weigh in days are tuesdays, so i'll cut everything out and see what i weigh then, but i'm just angry/disappointed in myself and cant believe all i lost was water weight and no fat.

    hmm i can kinda relate.. im not losing right now but, you need to measure too becuase i do now too and it shows a difference.. i seemed to have laid off the pepperoni ( i used to eat it more) because i feel like it has too many additives.. when i stick to cold-cuts, i eat turkey, ham, bologna, cheese (deli cut). I'm not too big on pork rinds but theyre good in a dip or spinish dip. the scale stopped moving for me right now but, do drink all your water becuase also, i learned from that- i stopped meauring my amount and you need to keep your body hydrated becuase the tad bit of dehydration can cause no loss or an up on the scale. good luck!

      Hang in there. :hug You shouldn't be disappointed at all.
      You need to listen to goal65 and get a tape measure and measure, because scale are EVIL!!!
      You need to watch the pork rinds and pepperoni theycontain a lot of sodium and it can cause some people to retain water no matter how much you are drinking.
      Wait until your regular weigh day to way and go get a tape measure. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

        Avoid the high sodium foods. Drink a ton of water and forget the stupid scale except for a weekly or monthly weigh in. As long as you are following this WOE by the book you will lose.

          Since 80% of our body consists of water it stands to reason a good portion of our initial weight loss would be what is in abundance.

            So you're on Wekk 3 is that right. A stop is scale loss is very normal and the loss will pick back up. Hey don't feel bad or discouraged I totally know wht you are going from this is from a girl who has had 14 weeks of stalls no loss of weight on the scale but, I have still managed to lose 63 pounds now that's pretty awesome. The scale for me fluctuates up and down upt to 11 pounds as I found out at TOM this time. it has all come off and you will ahve daily fluctuations don't worry that's all normal too. Have you been measuring you really need to measure it's sooooo very important. I was stuck for 6 weeks I had no loss of weight or inches then this last week I lost 1 inch on my thighs and let me tell you how happy I am about that. The scale won't tell you if the fat you are losing is being replaced by muscle mass thus making the scale not move but the tape measure will tell you WOW what a great Job you have done you lost...inches this week stupid scale said nothing other then that you were up 4 pounds or stayed the same. SO don't be discouraged keep it up keep it clean and the weight will come off. I am a testiment to eating clean It'll be 7 Months cheat free on the 6th.

              I have been in a stall, but I know if we keep hanging in there those pounds will start falling off again! :nod
