  • What is everyone doing? Be specific.

    I would like to see (in one thread) what everyone is doing and compare it with their results to see if there is a correlation.

    Are you sticking to the allowable list of induction foods and to no more than 20 gms of carbs per day?: Yes, I keep it simple with basic foods except for some taco seasoning I use with ground beef.

    Drinking water: 101 fl oz per day

    Caffein - How much? I drink 1 cup of decaf coffee a day and no soft drinks

    Exercising: Right now I'm doing a lot of swimming...about 1 hour a day.

    How much cheese do you eat? 3 ozs per day

    Do you keep track of calories? Yes, I use fitday. Between 1600 and 1800 a day. My Basal Caloric Rate is 1749 and my Active Caloric Rate is 2274

    Do you stick to the 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carb rule? Yes I do using fitday

    Do you eat any frankenfoods? Not sure if the taco seasoning is a frankenfood or not. Besides that, no.

    What is your average weight/inches loss per week? I lost 15 lbs during the first 2 weeks of induction.

    How often do you weigh/measure yourself? Every day during the first two weeks and now once a week.

    Do you do anything else to help with weight loss? I keep reading the posts from this forum to keep me motivated.

    Exercising: 2 - 3 miles walking/running with 3lb weights in each hand for 30 - 45 minutes

    How much cheese do you eat? 1 ounce maybe

    Do you keep track of calories? NOPE

    Do you stick to the 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carb rule? I dont know i dont use Fitday.

    Do you eat any frankenfoods? Yes....on occasion. I have those carbolite dark chocolate handy i'll have a piece when i have a sugar attack.

    What is your average weight/inches loss per week? 2 - 3 lbs a week. Not sure about inches just bearly measured myself last week.

    How often do you weigh/measure yourself? I weight daily...it's an addicition I know! I measure 1 time a week.

    Do you do anything else to help with weight loss? Come to these boards for inspiration! Family support

      Drinking water: 106 fl oz daily..but i've just recently uped that to atleast 140 fl oz a day.

      Caffein - How much? none

      Exercising: 2 mile walk/run 3 times a week and pilates 3 times a week

      How much cheese do you eat? I was getting a little carried away with my cheese so now i'm at 1 oz a day at the most!

      Do you keep track of calories? No

      Do you stick to the 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carb rule? I don't use fitday, so no

      Do you eat any frankenfoods? No

      What is your average weight/inches loss per week? I did lose between 2-3pds a week but i've been in a stall........hopefully not for long!

      How often do you weigh/measure yourself? weigh myself everyday...but I usually only count mondays as my "regular" weight day. I don't measure myself that often...once a month maybe.

      Do you do anything else to help with weight loss? I come to this board, its helped me so much since i started this journey...not sure what I would do without it!

        Exercising: treadmill work at rehab three times a week and some walking at home.

        How much cheese do you eat? 2-3 ounces

        Do you keep track of calories? NOPE

        Do you eat any frankenfoods? Just bought a bag of pork skins for breading on chicken steak I want to try but that is it.

        What is your average weight/inches loss per week? Not sure...have to figure it out.

        How often do you weigh/measure yourself? Three times a week because of hospital and rehab orders.

          I know I've got OWL in my siggy, but I'm still behaving like an Ext Inductioner, so here goes:

          Are you sticking to the allowable list of induction foods and to no more than 20 gms of carbs per day? YES, sometimes I cheat and go over by a few grams, but mostly I'm just on 20g

          Drinking water: 5 pints or more

          Caffein - NONE

          Exercising: WALKING home from work. Approx 6 miles in 40min a day

          How much cheese do you eat? NONE I think I stall on it.

          Do you keep track of calories? YES FITDAY. I eat anything from 1,700 to 2,500cal a day

          Do you stick to the 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carb rule? YES I even find going up 70-75% fats helps me lose better

          Do you eat any frankenfoods? Do you count Atkins Endulgence bars are frankenfoods? Eat bacon sometimes and also 0.5g carb skinless mince sausages

          What is your average weight/inches loss per week? 6LBS during 14-day Induction, only 4 inches in 4 months. 2lbs/week for the first 2 months then I stalled and now struggling to move the pounds.

          How often do you weigh/measure yourself? EVERYDAY, in the morning just after I wake up and do my business, before I get dressed or put on any jewellery

          Do you do anything else to help with weight loss? Cut out foods to see if these make me stall.

            Drinking water: 200-250 oz daily.

            Caffein - How much? Zilch....Its bad for ya, remember? lol

            Exercising: I have a 6 day a week program. Mon,Wed,Frid are my heavy lifting day, alot of upper body work which includes along with the lifting Body exercises such as pushups,crunches... Tues,Thursday,Saturday I run about 2miles. Then I ride a bike around, every day just for fun.

            Do you keep track of calories? Not really, I use to but I found since I eat the same thing daily, I have a set number I do, some days up, some days down

            Do you eat any frankenfoods? HECK NO!! induction by the book!

            What is your average weight/inches loss per week? I am not really sure because I weigh monthly..so I don't really keep track per week, but so far I have lost roughly 35lbs in 1.5 months

              Drinking water: around 80 ozs a day

              Caffeine- How much? 1-2 cups of coffee a week

              Exercising: shame on me, not much except for taking care of 3 children on their summer break (thats exercise, right?)

              How much cheese do you eat? 2- 3 ozs per day

                Drinking water: I dunno, but I pee every 1/2 hr!! J/K Probably 128oz

                Caffeine- How much? maybe 1 cup of coffee a week, but only if im seriously draggin butt!

                Exercising: Have been playing softball, but just started back at the gym, so right now atleast 30 min a day, plus lots of sit ups in hopes my rolls will shrink!

                How much cheese do you eat? no cheese, I stall

                Do you keep track of calories? not really because i eat the same everyday just about, so im usually 1200 - 1400

                Do you eat any frankenfoods? when TOM comes I give in to a carb Hershey bar, 1 gram of carb per whole bar and I only eat a 1/4 of it, but boy do i pay for it later.

                What is your average weight/inches loss per week? I lost 23 pounds in my first month, which was only last week, but have lost 3 pounds last week too.

                How often do you weigh/measure yourself? I measure myself by the way my clothes fit. I weigh myself everytime I walk in the potty!! Its a bad habit, but my battery is dying and im not buying a new one for atleast 2 weeks!

                Do you do anything else to help with weight loss? My Husband, my friends, my coworkers and even my Husbands Friends... AND OF COURSE ADDB, I <3 u guys!!! :hug Compliments will keep ya going!!

Sometimes I dont eat any and then have half a cup of low carb ice cream (but Im on the extended induction). It actually helps me keep regular

                  Caffein - No. I dont drink anything but water

                  Exercising: 30min of walking 5 times a week. Im starting to do some biking, about 30min per day.

                  How much cheese do you eat? 3 ozs once or twice a week. Not a big fan.

                  Do you keep track of calories? I've been thinking that I should, but so far...no.

                  Do you eat any frankenfoods? Yes. Breakfast sausage and polish sausage about 3 times a week.

                  Do you do anything else to help with weight loss? I keep reading the posts from this forum to keep me motivated. I think that drinking nothing but water helps. When I drank teas and sodas, they made my body feel dirty. Dont know how else to explain it.

                      Drinking water: about 100oz a day

                      Caffein - How much? None

                      Exercising: eliptical for 30 min 5 days a week

                      How much cheese do you eat? 3-4 oz a day..sometimes a tad more (bad i know!)

                      Do you keep track of calories? Nah, I just keep track of carbs

                      Do you stick to the 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carb rule? For the most part, most of the meals I have entered in fitday have been right around there, but I don't check every day.

                      Do you eat any frankenfoods? sometimes pepperonis

                      What is your average weight/inches loss per week? 12lbs from induction...fell off last weekend and has taken me ALL week to get back to where I was, weight-wise.

                      How often do you weigh/measure yourself? weigh every day, measure every 2 weeks.

                      Do you do anything else to help with weight loss? Think about it ALL the time...if it's the main thing on my mind, I'm not gonna screw up...also this forum and the girls at 3fatchicks.com keep me motivated!
