  • Reenlisting in Induction

I have been stalled for a month now. :sadblinky Before that, I stalled for a month, then dropped 4 pounds over a few days. I have been doing a modified OWL, because my book was from the 90s - pre rungs. I just added strawberries, cream and nuts to my diet (not every day), upping the carbs a bit each week.

But even though I keep my net carbs around 30 grams or so a day, I feel like I'm just flying by the seat of my pants with my eating. I do cardio 5-6 days a week and work out with a personal trainer 3 days a week. Yea, I have lost inches, although I don't know if I've lost any during this last month. But that damned scale bobbles between 200-202. I feel like I'm sitting on a wooden fence, looking at Onederland on the other side, and I need a push to get over there! I'm tired of picking splinters out of my butt from sitting on this "just shy of Onederland fence"..!! :raving :anger

I tried the Wooshie Pie sauce on some deli roast beef, but no Wooshie, so I guess I'm not retaining any fluid my body wants to give up. I doubted I was anyway because I spend half of my life peeing!! :raving

So I decided that maybe I need to get control again of my eating and go back to Induction again and see if that will push my butt over the Onederland fence. That has been my major goal - to get under 200, but talk about an elusive goal!

So here I am.... again. :yes

    Monica,

I think it's a good idea to try extended induction, see if you can get over that fence! Send us a post next week and let us know how you do, it sounds like you are doing everything right, so lowering your carbs should get results. I have to lose 24 pounds to get to wonderland, I can't wait! Good Luck!!!

Yup, maybe you need to get back into a clean induction, look at your carb creep, up the water and exercise and give it time.

I'm a slow loser so I can say that :yes

But when I don't cheat and stay in Induction, I lose!!!!
