  • Somebody tell me to go exercise!

    I don't know what my problem is today, I can't get off my butt and exercise! TOM is due on Thursday, there is a heat advisory outside...can I think of any other excuses???? I know I'll feel good after I exercise, I just feel lazy today!

          I just walked 21 minutes in the parking garage. Go out and make it a goal to walk for 10 min (if you finish 10 min, good, you achieved your goal, if you go longer than 10 min. then you've gone above and beyond :yes )

          Every little bit counts...
          I use a diet and exercise booklet and I record everything and the calorie burned per exercise says 4 cals/min of casual walking. So I keep thinking, every extra minute I can get in in the parking structure is another 4 cals burned!!!

            GO EXERCISE! LOL! I'm just as guilty i've been nursing my body back to health for the past 3 weeks. UGH...the thought of going out and sweating for an hour just doesnt sound to appealing...lol! Just go for it...i'm right there with ya!

                Well, I did 45 minutes of water aerobics, so that was something. I have Multiple Sclorosis, I've been in remission for a long time, but I'm afraid this feeling so lethargic is a sign that it's coming back!

                  Sometimes when I am feeling unmotivted to exercise, I put on my work-out clothes. I tell myself, I am not going to actually work out, I am just going to put on the clothes. By the time I get the clothes on, sometimes I feel like it is easier to just go. Sometimes this doesn't work, and I just wear around my work-out clothes all day. But most of the time it works and I eventualy go work out. Just a little trick I thought you might try.
