    Hi,

I started 2/22/05, I've lost 37 pounds, my next weigh in is tomorrow. I am doing strict induction, no cheating, no fooling around, stictly by the book. I work out for 90 minutes 6 days a week. I do Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds, 2 miles or 3 miles and I do Richard Simmon's Tonin Uptown one day and Tonin Downtown the next. I do 45 minutes of water aerobics. I still wear a size 2x top, cause I'm well endowed and size L pants, I think that is around size 18-20. I just don't allow myself to even think I could get away with cheating. When I'm in the mood for something, I will have chicken wings in hot sauce with celery/blue cheese dressing or deviled eggs or celery with cream cheese.

I started 1/13/05 and have lost 48 pounds. I have 57 more pounds to loose - but I am determined! I exercise 20-25 minutes 5 days per week - jog one day - weight train the next. I have had some "cheat" days in the past - but I just started right back on the next day. I went from a size 22-24 to now wearing an 18. I have lots of energy and feel great! People are now noticing my weight loss and its a wonderful feeling. Naturally I am still on extended induction and plan to stay here until I am about 20 pounds from my goal weight and then I will go on to OWL.

If you have a few occasional "cheats", don't beat yourself up over them, just get right back on the train! One of the hardest things for me is boredom in foods. I have to diligently look up new recipes and try them every now and then because I tend to stick to the same 'ole thing.

Hi Leah, I started Jan 26/05 and have lost 57 1/2 lbs, with another 55 lbs to lose. I was wearing a size 20-22, and now I am fitiing into a size 14-16. I work out at least 6 days a week, vigorously, and am continuing in extended induction until I am about 20 lbs away from goal. Water is now my best friend, and when I have a craving, first I will have a large glass of ice water, if that doesn't full-fill me, then I will have something with cream cheese! That usually does the trick! I also come to the board for reassurance, especially when I am tempted!!!

I started on January 31, 2005. I have lost 50 pounds. I am working out on my BowFlex every other day. Before that I was using my stationary bike every other day. I plan on exercising more shortly. (I'll be a stay at home mom in August.) I still have another 40 pounds or so to lose. It all depends on when I get to 140 if I still think I should lose weight, which I probably will.

My weakness is sometimes having too much cheese, occasionally allowing myself to get low carb popsicles, and having spurts of having to have diet caffeine free coke.

I have a cruise that I'm going on with my family and hopefully my best friend (She has to check how many vacation days she has in her new job.) in April 2006. I want to be at a point that I can walk around in a bathing suit and not try to cover up. That will be the number 1 way for me to realize that I have succeeded. I haven't worn a bathing suit in over 6 years and before that, even when I was smaller, I still wore shorts and a bikini top.

I think having a goal is what helps me. I make little 10-15 pound goals to see if I can make it by a certain period. My next goal is to be at 165 by September 15th. I realize that it gives me quite a while to make it to that goal, but I realize that once you get closer to your goal, your weight loss slows down and I don't want to add a hinderance to my weight loss by giving unrealistic goals. If I pass it, then it'll help me make my next goal which is 140 by Christmas.

I started February 9 and have lost 47lbs thus far. I was wearing a 20 and now am wearing a 16 comfortably. I hope to soon be a 14 I cant remember the last time i was a 14 not to mention i have no clothes that are a 14. I like others didnt take any measurments prior to starting and wished i did. I have lost more inches in my upper body than my bottom...but i know I need to just be patient. I'm starting to wonder what i may look like at 160 which is my next minigoal.
