  • Body Changes

Well, this is a first one for me in years. I realized yesterday, as I was sitting in a waiting room for an appointment, that I can actually cross my legs normally, and feminantly!!! No more excess fat on my once thunder thighs to prevent me from doing so. It felt so good, I was so excited!!! When I told my DH, he laughed and grinned at me, he has skinny legs of course, and doesn't realize what this means! Anyone else notice differences as their bodies change???

    OH :yes

My thighs have stopped rubbing together in summer - I never used to be able to wear short shorts coz the skin would hurt after a while. Even my pants got worn down a fair bit between my thighs

Also try sitting down - I've noticed that the rolls over the tops of my pants are a lot smaller and not so squished up between my bra and top of my pants

My upper arms stopped having a v-shaped look - they look more stream-lined now and I feel more confident wearing sleeveless tops too

Oh, and one more thing, my necklaces aren't so tight around my neck now - they fit beautifully!

Well, first off congrats to anyone who has reached the sleeveless milestone...I unfortunatly have not. However, I have dropped 4 pants sizes and I'm on the verge of going one more. I've also been able to cross my legs like a normal person, I've seen a significant change in my arm "wiggle"...although not enough to make me brave. My legs don't rub together anymore, my extra chin is gone, my rings barely stay on any more (and that includes my toe rings!!) My back is getting sleeker which is the milestone I'm anxious for (after the arms!)

Yea, I had to give my oldest sister all of my expensive bras from Lane Bryant. :sadblinky Okay, so I'm thrilled that the inches have decreased, but not the cup size! :anger LOL! Oh well, can't have it all...!

The best thing is I can fit in the smaller lawn chairs and not worry about my *** getting stuck in the chair so when I get up the chair doesn't come with me also I notice that I can sit in the table chairs with the arms on the side now something I could never do before cause it actually hurt really bad to do it. The leg crossing has to be the coolest though.

Smaller boobs??? :yikes I thought people who said they lost weight in their chest, were liars!! Okay, if mine get smaller because of Atkins, it gives me a kick in the butt to work harder! I notice a difference in my waist & thighs but if I have to buy bras in "specialty lingerie" stores (at $50-100) for the rest of my life, I'll have them surgically removed!! Even if I can lose the inches in the band, I'll be able to use that $50 La Senza gift card my mother gave me for my bridal shower......last September!! (Although, losing some cups sizes would really make my day!!)

WOO HOO! :joy Here I come smaller boobs!!!! :icondance

haha I'm a large C and that's where I want to stay...I had a dream last night that I was skinny, walking around in a bikini and I STILL had my boobs! I'm hoping that dream was a prophecy!

I've lost about 3 1/2 inches in the band size, and although I wore a C and still wear a C, they aren't the same as they were. Or maybe Lane Bryant bras just have larger cups - who knows... I hope the fat fairy leaves them alone! :censor

I have also noticed that when I sit at the table, or at a restaurant at a booth, my boobs don't hang over the table anymore! I used to wear my food on my chest at almost every meal, it was quite embarrasing. My step-children would watch me at the kitchen table, waiting for the food to hit my chest!!! My DH mentioned to me the other night when we were out for wings at the local pub, that I haven't dropped any food on my chest in a few months now....they're not taking over the table anymore!!! Thx Dr.A!!!!

As far as the bra size, I was a 42D when I had my daughter, and then about a year later, I was a 42C and now I'm a 40B. I was always a B size and I'm perfectly fine with a size B. I just feel a bit lopsided right now since I always lose weight on top first and then the hips/butt/thighs weight go away last. I almost feel like I'm a B and a half right now though. The C felt a little too roomy and the B feels like I'm busting out a bit.

I notice how I have room to move around in chairs, when I go places--I also love the fact that I can cross my legs. I love the fact that I don't have trouble fitting any more!

Over the course of my slowly but surely weight loss, I have noticed that I can also cross my legs too without having any strain or difficulty, which is cool, because I think its more feminine to sit with legs crossed.

I am really hating my chest....before I had kids I was around 145 - 150 and my chest was probably average, around 34C or so, but after kids they have grown toa bout a 38 DD and I really don't like them. I told my husband that I can't wait for them to be small and firm, because I just cannot stand them ! lol

I have noticed they have gone down a bit, which is great...the less of them the merrier! Luckily I haven't had really any back pain but I guess I should consider myself lucky...

Oh yea, I definitely notice more room in chairs and I no longer have "the spread" where your hips get wider when you sit and take up the whole chair.
