yay! hmm we should go eat somewhere really interesting...not your normal chili's or something...I wonder if there are any restaurants in Houston that cater to the atkin's way of eating? I know TGI fridays has a low carb menu, but...I want to do some research and find someplace really cool! I am pretty much free all the time, so whenever you and Sara, and whoever else would like to join have time I will make time! Any ideas?

Okay guys- I'm in I just need to check with the hubby's schedule which varies daily. Would mid-week be good say a Wednesday around 7 so we have enough time after work and in traffic. What is a central area we could all meet at. Humble... The Woodlands.....290???? TGI Fridays low carb dishes are really not that low in carbs (I don't think) but I will let yall know what I can think of soon!!!! How exciting!!

ooo I have an idea...do you both like seafood? My fiance hates it and I never go to restaurants alone, so maybe if you girls like seafood we can go to a seafood place! If you don't like seafood maybe we can go get some steaks :-p Next Wednesday would be fine with me, and 7 is a good time also. Maybe we could go someplace on 45 since it's kind of in the middle?

Hey ladies, I am in the Dallas area and I don't know if they have one in Houston or not, and it is a little pricey, but. ( could I have a more run-on sentence?) Fogo De Choa is AWESOME it is a Brazilian style grill place, they have cute little servers dressed up like charos walking around with spits full of all different kinds of meat. The also have an amazing salad bar with huge olives fresh slices of mozzarella, it is wonderful. Now I am salivating. Good luck.

wow that place looks amazing, but I don't think I'll have $45 to drop!!! Maybe on a special occasion...but I am impressed with the reviews I read! Maybe when we all get to goal weight we can go there!

Okay ladies- I am good to go with Red Lobster or Joe's. Either location is great. Let me double check with the husband also and make sure he gets off that evening in enough time for me to make it there. I am sooo excited!!

ok...if we're going for food quality, I'd say Red Lobster is a little tastier...but Joe's has the fun atmosphere! hmm I'm going to go look at both menus online, it's been forever since I've been to either, but I used to work at RL :-p I have been dying for some lobster tail! yummm

I am gonna check out the menu also. I love lobster tail myself. Is it real expensive? I know outback steakhouse has awesome lobster tail but pricey. ttyl

hmmm if I remember correctly I believe a live lobster is like $21 or so...but I usually get the rock lobster tails, I don't like to mess with the whole thing...I'm alwyas scared it's not dead and might crawl off my plate! haha. I think the rock lobster tails are $15ish maybe a little cheaper...I could call and find out. Also the steak and lobster is really good, but I'd have one for dinner and save one for lunch the next day! hehehe...My budget will probably be around $25 including tip.
