  • OMG IT HAPPENED!

I went to old navy to get my 5.00 shirt. Well they had some good sales. I bought a FITTED DRESS completely strapless for 19.99 in a size 14!!!! OMG i wanted to take a picture of myself in the freakin' fittin' room. My hands are trembling as i type this....

I also bought a pair of short shorts in a size 14 and a flag tank top in a size M.

    OMG....

now back to your regularly scheduled programming...lol

        We need a picture!

I may be wrong, but I am convinced that Old Navy sizes run small too!

sort of, they aren't really women's sizes, so a 14 would be considered a 14 jr...a 14 womens is a lot bigger...so wow youre in JR sizes! woot!

WOW really? I'm in junior's sizes? I never knew that about old navy. I always wore the xxl or the 20's there. I dont mind....you mean this old lady can now shop in the Junior's section? uh oh....that could be dangerous. I may just have to go and check it out...maybe this weekend..lol! I may have to take the digiital camera with me to take pics cause I know I cant buy anything else for at least another month.

I allow myself $50.00 a month of new clothes so i'm pretty much at my limit. Shoes...now that's a whole other story. My motto is "You can never be too thin or have to many shoes!!"

Size 14 is such a great milestone! It means you can shop in NORMAL STORES!!! I am so close I can almost taste it! I know exactly what you mean about your hands trembling as you type. I didn't go shopping for a long time, and I wore my size 22 jeans until they were almost falling off. I almost cried in the dressing room when I tried on and fit the size 16 jeans which I am wearing now (which are now getting looser!)
                      Hooray for you!!!!

My heart started racing reading your post. I can't wait to get there! I actually bought a tank top today in a medium. I think it ran large but I just couldn't believe that a medium could fit my body. My bottom end is going to take a little longer to catch up. I am finally back in my size 18's and one pair of size 16 jeans are going to fit me in another 10 pounds. Yeah!!! Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!!! ha
