I have just finished week 4 of induction and have lost a total of 19 pounds. I feel great except I find myself eating the same foods over and over. Well, my mom introduced me to a woman she works with who has been on Atkins for 3 years. She started at 450 pounds and is at 140!!! It is soooo amazing. She has agreed to be my mentor! I will go over her house every other week this summer and make induction friendly recipes. I already went once. We made sausage stuffed mushrooms, spaghetti squash with oil and sausage, Bacon and Swiss quiche and the best - Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad!! I would have never eaten mushrooms or cauliflower before trying these. I feel so lucky to have someone who has been through this and can give me tips and recipes and ideas.
