  • Need to get back on track....

Well I was doing so good. I finished my 14-day induction last week and planned to stay on induction for at least another 4 weeks or so.

    What happened????

Well I am on my 4th week of the Slim in 6 program which is going very well and I am very proud I have stuck to this every day. Exercising is such a good motivator and these exercises are toning my body. I mean I have lost inches and my clothes fit better.

My mistake - I did not lose but 1 pound on my last week of induction and I think it is because my body is converting fat into muscle because of the Slim in 6.

Well I cheated with having carbs that are not on the plan. Ughh!! Now I feel like I have to start over with the induction.

Okay - I finally am through beating myself up for 2 days now. I will just continue from here and see how it goes.

Thanks everyone for listening and again my best to everyone with your goals.

Don't beat yourself up anymore... move on and make sure whatever made you cheat doesn't happen again!

You cant really do your 14-day induction again unless you went off on a carb binge for a few weeks and are returning to Atkins anew.

Extended induction is exactly the same food plan as you had on your first 2 weeks, so as already said just climb back on the Atkins train and eat off the allowed list only from now on.

If you can work out what made you cheat you can prepare to resist the temptation the next time.

Be happy you are gaining muscle as it will make your body burn more calories in the future and enable you to have a higher CCLL too!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
