O.k. I have been on Atkins for 2 months now in the first month I lost weight really fast and now I stop for a few weeks then I drop 10 pounds over night (not kidding) But I need some advice or to talk to someone who has been in my situation, but just someone. I just get sad when I get on the scale and I have been doing everything right and i don't even lose 1 pound.

Have you read this yet?

How often are you weighing yourself? If you're hopping on the scale every day you need to think about what that is doing to you. As Dr. Phil says "How's that workin' out for ya?" Weigh in once a week, or once every two weeks, but stop the daily weigh-ins.
It's very normal to experience pauses in your weight loss. Your body may just be taking stock of it's situation.
Things you can do are to re-evaluate what you are eating and make sure you are still on track. Perhaps it's time to move to the first rung of OWL and add in more veggies.
Are you exercising? Maybe it's time to step it up a little bit, or change what you are doing if it's been the same routine all along.
Above all, be patient and things will start moving again.

Re: The Saddness
First off...congrats on loosing that much in 2 months! I have been on Atkins since Feb. and have lost 53lbs. Now that's alot longer than 2 months! Take a break from the scale and maybe focus on inches lost. Are you exercising? You may be getting more muscle mass or just plain loosing inches instead of pounds.
Happy low carbing to ya!

Re: The Saddness
Smile,
You are doing really well! I've been on this WOE since February 22nd and I've lost 40. But I know what you mean about the sadness, I hate my scale! I absolutely hate it. I could really relate to that gal that said she threw her's out the window! I have gotten to the point where I only allow myself to weigh once a week on Wednesdays, otherwise I stay away from that evil thing! Please don't be sad, you are doing great!Chriss Female 246/236/160 5'3"
