Hello all,
Just a good guess, but my sore feet tell me to stick with the story. I participated in a 24 hour 'Relay for Life' Friday and Saturday. I timed myself a couple of times and was doing about 15 minute miles. Depending on who I was walking with, I would step it up or down a degree. I walked for a total of nine hours, two shifts plus joing others during portions of theirs. I was pretty stiff yesterday when I got home, and went to bed early. Today I feel great except my feet are still a bit sore. I walked 2 miles today and stopped to "rest my poor sole(s)"
If any of you find a relay for life in you community, sign up for or start a team. I was part of a team from work and also one for a non-profit I am involved in. It was a good way to get some excersize and talk with community members! We raised $100,000 in our town of 8,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Cheers,
Dave
