  • Well......good!!!

    Hi all!
Well....I did step on the scale this morning, and STILL no movement. Geewhiz! However, yesterday morning, when we got up, I hugged my husband for a couple of min, and he said,"hey....your butt is getting smaller." Then we went into Vegas for the day, stopped at my parents house first, and my mom opened the door and said, "Wow, babe!!! You're losing weight!" I felt great. Im on my 3rd week. Ive lost 7 pounds, the only problem is that the 7 pounds came off in the first 4 or 5 days, and no actual weight lost has shown on the scale since. It would just be SO NICE to watch it go down. Stubborn old scale anyway!!!
Hope everyone is having an awesome day.....

LOL... I finally had to stop weighing myself at home. I only use my doc's scale and make it a point to stop there on Friday mornings. It keeps me in line and I don't get crazy over my scale which fluctuates. It's very hard to NOT step on it though. I hid it in the closet........

remember to check those inches as your body mass morphs while you are doing Atkins. Fat mass is shrinking muscle mass is going up and fluid mass is in a constant state of flux.

The poor scalse can only tell us what the effect of gravity is on the total mass not if you lost 12 pounds of fat added 3 pounds of water mass and 2 pounds of muscle mass.

The TAPE MEASURE is the accurate item, not that silly scale. Measure every 2 weeks and you'll see that the inches are melting off, which will confirm what your family is saying!!!!
          Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05
          218/187/140
          Measuring every 2 weeks
As of 10/31/05, losta total of 56.75 inches!
