Haven't been able to find the Bake Mix or the Atkins Syrup.
Do you have to order this on line or are there stores that carry these products? Are there other products that can be used instead of the Atkins brand?

I'm really craving pancakes but want to stay with the low carb.

        Re: Atkins Bake Mix

I've found the Bake Mix in "Vitamin Shoppe" so if you don't have one of those, try a similar type store that carries a huge line of vitamins and minerals.

You can also look on the Atkins website and click on the "Store Locator" at the bottom of the page. You put in your zip code and it lists the stores that carry their products, some even with a special CARE symbol if they have a controlled carb section.

        Good Luck!

          Re: Atkins Bake Mix

Our local GNC carries it and I hope they continue to do so. The grocery stores that always carried the Atkins products all seem to be phasing them out for other lo-carb brands.

            Re: Atkins Bake Mix

Do remember to check the ingredients on any mixes or processed foods to make sure they are all on the list of allowed induction foods though.
Here is the info on the Atkins Bake mix:

Corn Starch is not on the list, so if you are trying to do a 'clean' induction this would not be 'legal' till the grains rung of OWL
There are some 'legal' pancake recipes around.
Here is one from the recipes link at the top of the screen.
            http://www.lowcarbrecipes.org/recipe...t%20Beginnings
If you dont have psyllium husks you could use ground linseeds (flax) instead
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

              Re: Atkins Bake Mix

Just adding to what Elizellen said, "extended" Induction simply means you are staying on Induction longer than the minimum 14 day period. You're still following the Induction Rules and eating off the Induction Food List.

Since I am still doing a "clean" induction, I have never had the bake mix, is it any good?
