  • Finally some success!

After 3 weeks of no weight loss (even gained a pound back, but I think that was muscle from walking), the scale finally dropped! I was THIS CLOSE to the Binge of All Binges, and then Boom! Four pounds gone. Thank God. I hope this isn't a trend...lose a few pounds, stall for a few weeks, lose a few more pounds, etc. I think I'll end up bald if that happens! LOL

Just wanted to share with all my Induction Buddies!

Brace yourself. It may be that you will drop a few, pause for a week or two, then drop a few. It's not so bad!

Boy, I hope not! I'd much prefer a pound a week rather than 4 a month. LOL Or, alternately, I hope there's a loss for a couple weeks, maybe then nothing for a couple weeks. Just not almost a month's stretch with nothing. I was so close to eating everything in sight!

That is how I always lost. I would go many weeks then all of the sudden a good 5-7# whoosh over the course of a few days. It was frustrating but so worth it when that scale number would drop.

That is a good part of the reason that I am not using the scale this time around. I dont want to play the scale game every morning,.......................... afternoon and evening.

That's kind of what I do too Terry. There were about 5 weeks the scales didn't move, but when I divided how much I've lost by the number of months I've been on Atkins, I'm still losing 8.5 pounds a month on average.

I have to force myself to only weigh once a week. And measurements once a week too. I'll drive myself crazy otherwise. I can't "weight" to get all this fat off me! lol
