  • Bread??

    Hmmm,
    I found some bread called Natures Own. Nutrition statement is: 7 carbs. - 0 surgar - 2 fibers. Result would be 5 impact carbs right? it is a wholegrain bread. of course 2 slices would be half of daily intake correct? can I do this as long as I am keeping with my 20 gram intake?

    If you are on induction, bread is not allowed. Some forms of bread are re-introduced in the later rungs of OWL. While doing induction/extended induction, you should only eat foods on the acceptable foods list.

      What are the ingredients? If the ingredients are on the Induction Acceptable Foods List, then the bread is okay for Induction Phase. If the ingredients are not, then the bread is not acceptable for Induction, no matter how few carbs it has. Remember by extending your Induction phase past the minimum 14 days, you are still following the Rules of Induction and eating on those foods listed on the Induction Acceptable Foods list.

        there is an induction legal bread called flax bread you can make yourself in the recipe section otherwise you can look at OWL.

              Ever since I discovered how to make flax bread and crackers on which to melt cheddar cheese, I haven't had the least bit of desire for regular bread. Thank God!!!!!

                apparently i MUST find some flax seed somewhere in my small town because i need a cracker like you wouldn't believe... i also need something (ANYTHING) for brekkie that is NOT AN EGG!!

                  Then don't eat an egg for breakfast! Have tuna salad with a celery stick 'spoon'. Have a leftover pork chop from the night before...it's not set in stone that you need to have eggs for breakfast, so let your imagination go.
