  • Help - is this too low?

    I just put what I ate into Fitday. My total calories are : 1687 which is not low at all I know but my BMR is like 2140 because of how heavy I am. Also I have been staying away from cheeses and such due to possible yeast. My carb intake is: 16 with 4 grams of fiber so only 12 for the day. I had my 2 cups of lettuce and 1 cup of broccoli salad. Is 12 too low during induction?

    I will stay on my diet. I will get healthy and lose weight. There is nothing I could eat or drink that tastes as good as how I feel at this moment on this WOE ~ nothing!

    Sounds fine to me.
    You can always go up to the 20 carbs but you don't need that every day.
    As long as you are satisfied and not hungry you are doing fine.

      Not knowing your weight or height, I don't know if I can speak to the calories not meeting that BMR number. It is typically recommended to eat at your BMR caloric number as to not go into starvation mode. I routinely ate below BMR though and used my body's performance as a guage against starvation. If you feel great and have lots of energy, I would worry about it.

      As for the carb count as Iap says, you can go up to 20, but you don't always have to hit it on the dot. 12-15 carbs per day is a routine number for people in Induction.
