Re: Lost weight in my feet!
I went from an 8 1/2 to an 8. My sister bought me a beautiful pair of Dansko shoes for Christmas in 2003 and they didn't fit. After I lost about 50 or 60lbs on a whim I tried them on again and they fit perfectly. They're my favorite pair of shoes now!
I love Atkins.

Re: Lost weight in my feet!
I went from a size 6-6½ shoe to a 5 - a U.K. 2½, I believe. Now it's next to impossible to find cute shoes that fit, too! lolSheila, Founder of SugarFreeSheila.com

Re: Lost weight in my feet!
I would jump for joy if my feet went down 1/2 a size. They used to be an 8 1/2, then I got pregnant and they went up to a 9. It was a whole lot easier to find 8 1/2s than it is now. BUT since I have already lost almost 60 pounds and my feet are still size 9, I'm guessing that it probably won't go down. (Although, I'll still keep my fingers crossed.)

Re: Lost weight in my feet!
Congatulations on losing 60 lbs!!! Wow!! You may still go down in shoe size and it may or may not be diet related.
My shoe size went from 7 1/2 to 9 with my first child...this was a combination of weight gain and stretching of ligaments in my feet (according to my podiatrist friend). Anyway, after a few more children, my shoe size went down to size 8 when my youngest child was 3 or 4 and really i was losing and gaining back the same 20 lbs over those years when i really needed to lose about 70 lbs.
So you may still find that your feet will get smaller...I'm a size 8 shoe now (can't wait to be a size 8 dress) with 60lbs or so more to lose.Female

Re: Lost weight in my feet!
Thanks for the positive remark. I hope it does happen. My daughter just turned 4. My sister has great shoes and we used to borrow each others or she would just give me shoes, but now I can't fit into them. (She likes to buy expensive shoes too. It was the one way for me to get expensive shoes since I'm a cheapsake when it comes to certain things.)Originally posted by soon2bslimCongatulations on losing 60 lbs!!! Wow!! Re: Lost weight in my feet!
My feet went from an 8 1/2 to a 9 after my last child was born almost 2 years ago. I have gone back down to an 8 1/2 since losing 36 pounds. I didn't even know my feet were fat. LOL I would love to see a size 8 again. I haven't seen that size for 15 years.Michele SW250/CW 226/GW150 F, 38, 5'6"
I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!
