I never thought I would ever overcome my sweet tooth. I have been in this WOE for 4 weeks and have stopped all 'diet' drinks except one cup of coffee in the morning with splenda. Yesterday I took a sip of my wife's Diet Dr. Pepper and nearly gagged it was soooooo sweet. Who'd of thought? I used to drink 6 diet cokes a day minimum! Yesterday, I survived an all you can eat buffet (I used to eat all I could, right?) with a hamburger steak, some broccoli, cauliflower and a salad. And I sat in front of the dessert area and really didn't want any (all right, maybe a little, but it passed!)
For those who wonder about appetites, etc, I have gone from about 4000 cal/day to 1700/day and don't miss it at all. This thing really works!!!!! Thanks, Dr. A!
