  • It's Crunch Time!!

    i know im not supposed to worry about the weight coming off fast but i need it to! im at 298 now for a few days after cheating last week but ive been doing better and im at 298 and i need to break that. today im doing very strict induction and for the rest of the week.. super strict.. i need help! i need to lose it fast! prom is in may and id like to be down to 180 by then! it IS possible!

    Hey, hey, hey! Patience, patience.

    Can you lose 110 lbs between now and May? I have no idea. Neither do you. Only your body knows. It is choosing to drop pounds in its own way, at its own rate.

    It is not only dangerous, but virtually impossible for you to speed up your weight loss. You have been following a really healthy plan and done extremely well after a few periods where you were cheating. To try to starve yourself or do anything else to lose faster could harm your health and may cause you to stall.

    If you've been paying attention to the rate of your loss and the other posters around here, you should know by now that your body will not lose pounds in a linear fashion. You will drop some weight, pause to adjust, then drop some more. If you are stuck at 298 right now for a few days, that is because either you cheated and your body is reacting, or, more likely, becauese you are in a "pause" that can last a couple of weeks. You are probably losing inches, however.

    DO YOU MEASURE?

    This is not a race. You will, if you continue the woe, look fabulous by May. That's a promise. You already look really really good. The change is obvious and amazing.

    My only additional piece of advice is this: If you are not doing at least 30 minutes of cardio 6 times a week plus some weight training, start now. You will find that the cardio speeds up your metabolism and the weight training will tone you and also give you more muscle mass, which looks good and also helps the weight come off easier.

      thank you! i really do need to start cardio because i havent been. its so hard for me right now for several reasons becuase people notice now and they compliment me.. all my friends and it feels great! i bought an XL polo shirt yesterday and it fits me! the XL tee's didnt though only XXL. but its a plus because i used to be an XXXL. and in jeans.. i fit into a 42 and i think i can fit into 40's now. it feels great but i just want this to keep going so im unnoticable to people by may! lol and also theres a girl involved too but i know she likes me for the person i am not for what i look like but the looks always help

          Darn it, I already told you last week --Get your A$$ moving!!!! ---If you are eating correctly(the more you cheat the more confused your body is getting) then the only other healthy logical step is to get some exercise. Ok?? Promise??
