I found that when I outshrunk the plus size stores I was a bit lost as to where to shop. I had never really gone into the non-plus size stores and I felt like someone was going to come up to me, tap me on the shoulder and tell me to leave! -

I remember when I discovered I no longer fit into Lane Bryant's clothing. I stopped at the mall because I really needed a couple of pairs of jeans and all I had on me was my drivers license and my LB credit card. I went into the store - and none of them fit! The funny thing was that I was really frustrated. I walked out of the store and called dh just complainin' up a storm. I'll never forget what he said to me.
"I'm sorry, did you just call me b****ing about not being able to fit into the clothes in the big girls store because they're too big?"
ROFLMAO. I just stood there, I'm sure looking really stupid, for a second and then it hit me.
So, WOOHOOO for you for almost being out of that place!! I know it feels great!

Welcome to Old Navy baby! Woohoo!
After losing weight on WW over the last year, I have fallen in love with Old Navy! I started in Old Navy plus, and now am riding that cusp between size 20 regular and size 20+. I wear half of each, and am SO excited that soon I could be shopping in the GAP too!

Brook - that is terribly funny. I have been SO THANKFUL for stores like Lane Bryant. I have bought some really cute clothes that made me feel a little more normal even while being very overweight. But I can’t wait until I CAN’T shop there anymore.Comment

I remember SOOO well when that happened to me the last time around! I went right over to Charlotte Russe with my daughter and bought a pair of extra large capris. I was SO happy! Of course, it was my ONLY pair of pants for 2 weeks,b ecause none of my Lane Bryant pants fit anymore, and payday was 14 days away!!!!!Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05
