    Re: Wendy's Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers?

Part of what makes this whole thing work for me is that I get away from the formula food idea. I struggle on days to find good food, just like everyone on this WOE. I believe chain food joints are part of the collective problem, not the individual one. Some people are trim regardless of what they eat. Some, like me get heavy. Formula foods, like Wendy's perpetuate the problem.

For me, it is getting away from big business food. Feeding the masses buns with meat, a side of fries and 32 ounces of sugar water got me where I was before this WOE.

I LOVE going to a good restaraunt, and having a meal. I also crave two for one double cheese burgers from time to time. There is a difference though. Now, when the drive through urge hits me I find a supermarket. (Yes again, corporate food) I can buy a roasted chicken, raw veggies and sparkling water for example.

I just won't go to a fast food joint out of principle. McD's and the rest are part of the problem! Even if Wendy's wraps it into our plan, they still have a small board of people in their interest. Rest assured that your health is not part of that discussion!

I no longer go to fast food places, and encourage others to join me!

    Whole Foods!

I guess I'm confused what is not "whole foods" about a hamburger with lettuce and tomatoe on it with a side of salad? Wendys makes it the same way I do. Yes, you need to know what ingredients are in it, but once you know it's safe, then there is no difference. I have a book that lists carb counts. I have also checked out websites of restaraunts so that I know how things are prepared. Once you have this information then you can make good choices. I don't eat out often, but it is mainly because of the price, not because there are no choices. Most restaraunts have at least one salad that is Atkins friendly and many other choices that can be adapted.
