    What Bacon Do You Buy???

    Hey all-
    What kind of bacon does everyone buy? I went looking through the grocery store and they are all cured with sugar. any suggestions? thanks!

    Well that's the US of A for you! In the UK it's fairly easy to get untainted bacon - but you have to watch the labels carefully.

    Have I see folk on this list talk of "Canadian Bacon"?

        Do you have a Kroger or Fry's where you are? If so, check there. At my local Fry's, they have Kroger bacon that has no sugar and reduced sodium. It still has nitrates, but at least you don't have to worry about sugar...
