After a clean two-week Induction, I had lost a pretty respectable 7 lbs (according to my scale Sunday evening). I know, I should be excited, and I am, but yesterday, while at the market, I had a hankering for ice cream. And I don't mean a "Mmm, ice cream would be nice right now" kind of hankering. I mean a full-on "EAT THE CARBY GOODNESS NOW, YOU FOOL!" hankering. Talk about dilemma, huh?
As this is my second time around, I knew I didn't want to fall back into my usual routine of yo-yoing. So, I gave myself a little mental smack, picked up a nice cut of beef on which I wouldn't have otherwise splurged, and ate it medium-rare last night with horseradish and the most divine Caesar salad this side of Rome.
And this morning I was down another 2 lbs. Talk about positive reinforcement.
(I usually don't weigh myself but once every two weeks or so, but I just need that swift kick in the bum to remind me why I'm doing this.)

I was hoping to find some people with similar stats to compare menus, workout regimens and the like. Good luck and feel free to drop me a line whenever.
