Don't stop now. You'll be like Alice sliding into that rabbit hole and we all know what happened to her. I would inspire you by posting one of my pictures so you could see what you don't want to go back to, but I'll spare you that. Snap out of it and take a good look in the mirror and tell yourself, "I deserve to be thin, I deserve to have the life that I want and I can do this." Self belief is half the battle. Set a mini-goal before Halloween and go for it. You've come so far and for the sake of those of us just starting out, we need some heroes to look up to. Do it for the team!!!!!!!!

            Hi Iwillbethin,

You can do it! You've had your battles before and you always come through a winner! So many people on this board look to you for inspiration! You have been so honest about your struggles, it helps us all realize we aren't alone. Are you exercising? Drinking your water? Come on girl, time to get on that horse and ride! Only 29 pounds to go, you can do that with your eyes closed!

Bugaboo, I also have a picture of me with a bunch of relatives, I'm the fattest one in the picture, but I'm not the fattest one anymore!

Re: I Have To Get Back On Board!

Wow!! I don't know where to begin. I was in this very forum on May 2nd, when I first met you. I saw your pictures, and I knew you were a lean, mean, low carb eating woman. I read your posts and they were so inspiring. To be honest, I was intimidated to talk to you or reply to any of your posts b/c you were so successful, and I had not begun my journey. You were such a successful person who was so positive and had such a great outlook on everything. You MADE this WOE look tempting to me.

Their was something about your picture. You emitted this light that was success, and I wanted it. I wanted to look skinny and beautiful and glow too!! I decided THAT NIGHT that I was tired of not having control. I wanted to be this successful person that others looked up to, also.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you have been such a role model to me. I still do look up to you for being human and admitting your faults. Not everyone can do that.

I miss you and your success posts. It kinda makes me sad to know that you are having such a hard time. I wish I could help. I am here anytime you want or need to talk.

I hope you continue on your path to success, it looks good on you!!

Good Luck, Love, and Hugs, Stephanie

Re: I Have To Get Back On Board!

You can do it!! Post your before picture and the new one with your daughter on the fridge or bathroom mirror. See where you can go back to if you keep eating those carbs. You know they don't taste as good as what you look like now feels like. Stay strong!

You know, Stephanie brought up a good point about the glow, you do have a glow. I've noticed that a lot of people on Atkins that post their after picture have a glow to their skin, I wonder what causes that?

Re: I Have To Get Back On Board!

Gosh...me a role model. Ya'll are gonna give me a swollen head! Thank you all for your wonderful words. I'm on day 5 of induction again and doing great! I have been running all week also. I have a busy weekend planned we are going to a high school football game tonight, tomorrow to a festival and Sunday of course is football. I have a game plan though about what i will be doing. I'm going running right after work so we can go to the game at 7:30. Thank you all for kickin' me in the hiney and getting me going again! I have to admit I really really LOVE this WOL! I feel great and cant wait til i reach that goal. I'm hoping for some kind of wooshie soon. Gotta break the 160's sooner or later!!!

On a plus side my husband is now 178. The STINKER! He's just been having to eat what I eat and his weight loss is based on that he says. He does however have a big beer belly still. That will probably stay as long as he doesnt get off the coach and execise a bit right!

Well again...thank you all for giving me the support I needed and I'm so happy that i'm a role model to alot of you. I promise to keep up the good work and keep ya'll inspired to do good! Just like my screen name: IWILLBETHIN!!
