i will be hitting 6 weeks in induction this sunday and wanted to post how ive done to give others an idea what to expect.
im confident i will be at 20lbs down for the 6 weeks (VERY close now with 2.5 days to go). i average 3 - 4 pounds a week on a regular basis.
this is by doing a few things:
- doing Atkins... not MY version of atkins... not 5 days a week atkins... this is like being preggo... either you are or you arent.
- watching my caloric intake. when i stalled, i realized i was taking in alot of calories. even though i was have been in ketosis since day 4, that doesnt mean squat unless ultimately you eat less then you burn.
- drinking my water. if i skip this my weight loss dips dramatically.
during these 6 weeks, my family, work and social life altered slightly, but carried on as normal.
ive had b-day parties, housewarming parties, my twins treat bags from their grandma around, happy hours, long hours at work, employee hires and fires, high stress on a constant basis from home and work life, arguments with my fiancee, makeups with my fiancee
, allergies, illness, etc etc etc..... and still lost.
its only an excuse of you let it be one. i personally refuse to do that.
