you have at least 2 issues going on first yes it is true whisky has no carbs but alcohol is used as fuel first before fats so your fats you ater sat around waithing for you to burn off all the alcohol you drank.

Then you have hit what I call the post induction hesitation period where your scale weight can and does take a slight hesisitation is moving downward again. this has to do with body chem and changes going on.

then we have the big cheat of dribnking the alcohol itsself. Either you are doing induction and extended induction or you aren't alcohol has no place on induction and isn't allowed until week 5 of OWL. sooooo jump back on your Atkins program do your mandatory exercising and make friends with your tape measure as it will show you that you are still burning up your stored fats even when the metal monster doesn't move.

    Happy low carbing.

give that a read, it'll show you that a pause after the first initial water weight loss is pretty normal.

And yes, as 2big says, alcohol is a cheat, even if it doesn't have carbs, because it puts your weight loss on hold while it metabolizes the alcohol. I don't know about you, but I want this fat gone ASAP, and booze isn't going to slow me down.

You also may want to go to the Review My Menu forum and post a typical days menu so we can have a look at it. It can help to have objective eyes have a boo at what you're taking in. Just take a moment and read the sticky on How to Post a Menu, so it makes it easier for us to see what's going on.

No need to worry, you messed up with the drank but now you can just forget about that little thing and move on. That is what hindered you. The scale hasn't moved for me in a while and temptation of alcohol runs across my mind. I just say NO WAY JOse and keep it movin'!!
