Re: Cocoa?
As far as I know there are 2 thoughts on this Yani.
1. Treat it as a spice and use it in moderation - no more than one Tablespoon for flavouring
or 2. Treat it as a bean and add it in the relevant OWL rung.
Sorry not to give a definite answer
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: Cocoa?
well it is a spice in the Atkins kitchen lists and it is actually a SEED for rung 3 of OWL for more concentrated amounts.by the book atkinseer

Re: Cocoa?
Thanks 2big
It's good to know someone is watching my back for 'slips of the brain'
So Yani - you can have cocoa in spices quantities in induction and later in the seeds rung can use it in larger quantities.
According to fitday 2.5 Tablespoons of Hersheys unsweetened European cocoa powder (whatever that is) has 5 net carbs.
I hate hot chocolate drinks so am not sure whether you can make a chocolate drink from just a little cocoa powder or whether you would have to wait till the seed rung of OWL for it.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
