We can get through! We can, Yani! We can!
They let you bake for your son's 5th grade class?? Really?! We can't send in any home-made treats for the class anymore. Everything has to be store bought

Re: This Weekend will be hard!
so pack your Atkins emergency kit so you got some snacks and water for your lphase. your before pics so you can remember exactly why you don't want that cake and candy glued to your behind and you have included your escorts in your Atkins support team so they can assist you in ressiting. My 6yr old nephew back in 03 anounced to the whole restaurant eh was going to have to eat my fries cause the catfish he had cought for us came with fries. bet if your youngen announced he was going to have to eat all that junk for you you'd avoid it.
Think how hard you have worked already and do you really want to toss it all away for some as you said junk?
you can do it.

Yani,
You can do it! Just think about that little lion in the crib and remember you have to be a healthy example of life. You are doing so well. I have candy all over my house too this weekend for nieces and nephews and it is tempting. I try to stay busy, keep the candy in one location for now (trick-or-treat bags in the hall closet) and to graze on healthy foods all day. You can do it. Just remember you are awesome and you are going to do fine.

Soooo true! Going anywhere hungry or unprepared is a huge mistake! You can do this Yani!Originally posted by LaurenfraEat well every chance you have. My biggest down fall is hunger. BTW you have the cutest animal in any zoo anywhere.

Re: This Weekend will be hard!
You can do it, stay away from those bad foods. All they are are high refined flours and sugars and basically garbage foods, where once they go into your bloodstream they will just whack it up then you have to go back onto induction again and it will take your body 2 days to kick back into ketosis again just for one lousy cupcake or piece of candy its not worth it!
I've been staying away from sweets myself during this one month holiday here where everyone is pretty well fasting (including my husband) during the day and then once the sun goes down they have a huge feast, and this past week alone we went out for dinner 3 times and all the restaurants had huge buffets and of course huge dessert buffets with all the baklava you could dream of and other puddings, and I even went to the table to get some for my younger son, but I didn't touch any of them.
If I can do it you can too!!
