Hi everyone! I started Atkins 2 weeks ago and i registered for fit day yesterday. i have to say that I am 5'7 and 215lbs and i've been eating around 1900-2100 cals and my ratios have been good but the calories seem to high! i know there is much discussion on whether calories matter or not on Atkins but regardless of what diet i am i would think that 2000 calories would be way too much for my height each day considering my amount of movement.
anyway - here is my question/concern: on Fitday the section which gives reports still says that i am burning more than i am taking in by a good amount. so i decide to see how much i would have to eat before i wouldnt be burning enough. i typed in a slice of pizza and 2 cups of ice cream and it still said im burning more than im taking in! granted this was on the 1900 calorie day but still!
any thoughts?
